Grandes Guerras – June – 2005
An article about snipers and their importance in WWII, especially in the Stalingrad battle. I promise to draw the soldier with a neck next time…

Frota – June – 2005
An article about time scheduling for truck drivers and how they work under pressure. As always, my trucks look more ludicrous than ever.

4Rodas – June – 2005
Missing the good old beetle? I was experimenting with textures a lot at the time I did this. Looking back on these old images, I see how I handled these experiments with a heavy hand.

Playboy – May – 2005
More illustrations about little people climbing; if I am not mistaken, I did a bunch of these for Playboy magazine showing these Lilliputian characters climbing on a giant woman. Frota – May – 2005
This magazine is dedicated to vehicles of all kinds, but I always was commissioned to draw trucks for some reason. In my defense, my cars are drawn as bad as the trucks.

Viagem e Turismo – April – 2005
I always liked those schematic illustrations showing cutouts of machines, buildings, human bodies and so on. They have a charming and intricate visual that engages our curiosity. Unfortunately, I am not qualified to do this kind of informational imagery…

Corporate – April – 2005
Slot machines and a casino environment, great opportunity to play with reflections and saturated colors.

Playboy – March – 2005
Playboy magazine always had some of the greatest articles that I had illustrated. Adding to that, the editors and collaborators were very understanding to my, sometimes weird, suggested compositions. It was the best working experience I had.

4Rodas – March – 2005
The article wasn’t just about corn cob races on a river stream, if I remember correctly, it was about beautiful and nostalgic remembrances of youth.
